Drive through with your 3-wood

Drive through with your 3-wood

Many amateurs make the mistake of "hanging back" on their right side through impact which often results in a high, weak shot that drifts to the right.

With a fairway wood in hand, don't be afraid to drive through onto your left side as you make contact with the ball, trusting the loft on the clubface to get the ball airborne.

You can make sure you commit to this powerful movement by taking a small divot – even off the tee.
