Adopt a solid stance to kill your slice

Create a solid stance

Many amateurs unwittingly prepare themselves to hit a slice.

If your stance is narrow and unstable, the chances are you'll sway during the backswing and then fail to square the clubface through impact.

At address ensure that your stance is wide and that your toes and knees are pointing outwards slightly.

This will provide a firm base so that you can use your core abdominal muscles to generate plenty of power without losing control.
