Become a percentage player, take better aim
Many amateurs suffer with poor alignment because they aim where they want the ball to finish instead of where they want it to start flying.
As you stand back, eyeing up the fairway ahead, you should have a picture in your mind of how you see the ball moving towards the fairway. It’s highly unlikely that this will be a straight line. As you then address the ball for real, make sure that you aim your body and the clubface parallel to where you expect the ball to start flying. Employing this simple technique should greatly improve your accuracy stats.
Taking greater care over your address position will guarantee a more consistent driving game.
