Learn to loosen your grip

Grip it light for a smooth swing

A mistake made by many amateurs is gripping the club too tightly.

This tension prevents a smooth, even tempo technique and creates a jerky, unnatural motion through the ball that will affect accuracy.

The best way to stay in control is to grip the club lightly in you fingers. You'll feel the tension in your arms drain away.
