Learn to live with your slice

Allow for it

No more slices, allow for it.

If you feel uncomfortable making changes to your clubhead position at address in order to straighten the flight, then don’t – the results might be disastrous.

It might be safer to accept your crooked ball flight and aim the clubface and your body accordingly (right).

First, take care to aim the club towards the left edge of the fairway and then set your feet, hips and shoulders parallel to the clubface (left).

It’s imperative here that your feet and the clubface are parallel, as an open stance will only add to the left-to-right sidespin.
