Troubleshooting hybrids tip

Troubleshooting hybrids tip

If your ball is sitting in the rough or in a divot, you’ll need to forget any ideas you have of playing the high-flying approach – it’s simply too risky.

Address the ball as if you were hitting a normal long iron shot – the ball should sit in the middle of your stance. This will help you hit down, through the ball.

Don’t be afraid to take a divot in this scenario – you’ll have to drive through the ball (and then the ground) for a clean contact.
