Think before you play
Having a sound plan from the tee is crucial and in match play amateurs often make poor
decisions.
Don't be afraid to change your strategy if your opponent finds trouble – play safe and be sure not to follow him into difficulty.
When you have the honour stick to your game plan as if you were playing stroke play.
