Find the perfect pace for your must make putts

Hit, don't hurdle, the flag

Whenever you are faced with a must-make putt, it is crucial to hit the ball at the perfect pace.

Many amateurs make the mistake of hitting clutch putts far too hard.

On the practice ground place a flag two feet behind the hole as shown.

If you don't hole out the putt should have enough pace to reach the flag without jumping over it.
