Toughen up your practice

Toughen up your practice

An excellent training aid that I often use (a Dave Pelz Putting Tutor) helps me to groove a perfectly square putter face at impact.

The aim here is to hit the ball along the plastic runway without knocking into the ball bearings at the far end. This is harder than it might seem.

By making practice as tough as possible, you start to groove a more precise stroke that's reliably square through impact.
