Golf tips of the week: Putting drills - Monster putting
5 Monster putting
You will be at a huge benefit if you can practise your distance putting on a very large green. If possible I recommend that you work on putts of around 30 paces and try to get them within a reasonable two-putt distance of the hole. Mark out a semi-circle around the hole where you would feel comfortable hitting your second putt from and hit as many balls as you can into this area. This sort of practice will make any long putts on the course seem less daunting.
