Golf tip of the week: Putting through your shadow
Putting can be hard enough on tricky greens without being faced with one of those putts back across your shadow. So we asked TaylorMade staff professional Peter Hanson for his tips when faced with the dreaded shadow putt:
"Whenever you have a putt through your own shadow you have to take extra care over the line and be even more committed to the stroke.
"Take a little bit of extra time to look at the putt from a few different angles. This should help you think confidently about how the ball will break and where you want to aim.
"The last thing you want in this situation is to be second-guessing yourself as you stand over the ball."
