Jimenez's splash shot secrets

The secret is in the spine angle
When preparing for a splash shot I like to set my spine more over the ball than usual.
This serves to lower the bottom of my swing arc ensuring that I find the perfect 'sand first' strike.
As I make a more rounded swing, the club takes a shallow splash for a consistently soft contact that you'll be able to rely on time-after-time.
At address I also like the ball to sit forward in my stance, in line with my left foot. This also helps me strike the sand before the ball.
