Bunker tips: Splash shot

Unlike what many golfers are taught, I believe there are fundamental differences between bunker shots and flop shots. When it comes to the splash shot I recommend that your weight is evenly split at address. You can see a clear difference between this and my stance when playing a flop shot, which is about 60% on the back foot and 40% on the front. Your stance should be shoulder-width apart and this creates a solid base for the swing. My ball position for a bunker shot is in the middle of my stance, while for the flop shot it is in line with my front foot.
