Create more power with the 'Step Drill'

Cilve Tucker's Step Drill
This movement might seem unnecessarily complicated but by using this one simple drill you should be able to master it.
Address the ball as usual and swing to the top of your backswing, moving your left foot next to your right as you go.
Once your feet are adjacent to each other step back to your original set up position and let your body rotate through impact.
Be sure to avoid pausing at the top of the backswing.
For a fraction of a second your lower body will begin it's downswing motion as your upper body continues to complete its' backward rotation.
Practice this drill regularly and you'll add great power to your swing.
