1. JD and Ginger is an absolutely cracking drink but can leave you feeling a little funny in the head. Just wanted to get that one out of the way early – in case some of these don't make a whole lot of sense! Uncle Bill took us youngsters “downtown” last night, which proved to be everything he had warned us and a whole lot more, say no more!
2. Paul Casey has played three Masters and finished 6th and 10th along with one missed cut. This guy really does love Augusta. C'mon Paul!
3. Weekley Watch One: “My wife kind of told me it started looking hideous. She's like it's time to trim it up or take it off. I didn't have the trimmers with me so I went ahead and took it off.” Boo is talking about his goatee here by the way.
4. As we sit here in the Media Centre the Golf Channel (played on giant screens in front of us) are showcasing the game's “greatest ever chokers”. It's difficult enough for us to watch, let's hope Immelman, Casey et al don't have the box switched on.
5. Update on Monty's favourite Thai - Pryad Marksaeng pulled out after 9 holes on Friday citing back problems. The youngster had just shot 42 for 9 holes to go with his 82 in the 1st round. Whoops.
6. 16 of the last 17 winners have come from the final pairing. A streak that started in 1991 and was only broken by Zach Johnson last year.
7. James Brown was born and raised in Augusta. Probably you all know this but I didn't till last night!
8. If Trevor Immelman breaks 70 today he will be the first player to shoot all four rounds in the 60s in Masters history.
9. Weekley Watch Two: “I went and got some crackers and water and I sat out in the rain with the umbrella.” Mr Weekley explains how he dealt with yesterday's rain delay.
10. Immelman's 54-hole total of 205 is 13 shots better than the leading 54-hole score in 2007. Just shows how difficult last year's conditions were, as well as how well the main man is playing.
11. “I said 'you can't do that anymore' and he didn't do it anymore.” Miguel Angel Jimenez eexplains how he dealt with his non-competing playing partner (Augusta member Jeff Knox) driving the ball past him on the 1st hole.
12. “You are going to look like a fool sometimes, like I did on 18. That's part of golf.” Mr Robert Phlegmatic Karlsson reflects on his double-bogey finish yesterday.
13. Just three birdies were made all day on 7 yesterday, making it by far the toughest hole. Am sure I will par it if this damn ballot goes my way!
14. Quick bit of history for you – Sam Snead was the first Masters champion to receive a Green Jacket – in 1949. He had to give it back after a year.
15. Top tip of the day – don't ever order cheesy chips in America – they are all plastic cheese, very ropey chips (fries sorry!) and they will sink you. Still suffering.
16. Another good tip – never, ever follow Neil Tappin's betting advice. The deputy ed has now backed about 14 different players over the four days and none are even threatening a place. Things reached a new low this morning when he exclaimed that Steve Flesch at 10/1 was a great bet…. Oh dear.
17. Absolute disaster to report from the media centre – the Breakfast Biscuits ran out this morning…not good with the JD and Ginger still swirling around.
18. Ok, it's the last time I'll mention it (unless he wins) but you do realise that I have £10 on Trevor Immelman to win the Masters at 150/1. Genius
