Britain’s Best Putter, the search for the best amateur putter in Britain in association with Odyssey the #1 putter in golf is really taking off now.

Phil Scott from Wyke Green Golf Club in Middlesex was the first person to win a local qualifier and now he can see where he might play his regional qualifier.

The six regional hosts stand out as being some of the most prestigious and stunning golfing arenas in their respective region.

North West: Formby Hall is quite simply one of the finest golf resorts on England’s Famous Golf Coast.

Midlands: Those lucky to qualify from this region will get to play at multiple Ryder Cup host The Belfry.

North East: Rockliffe Hall is the highly acclaimed north-east newcomer on the banks of the River Tees.

Scotland: The 2014 Ryder Cup will be played at Gleneagles and so will the Scottish Regional qualifier for Britain’s Best Putter 2012.

South West: Saunton has hosted top amateur events in the past and is one of the top 36-hole links complexes in England.

South East: Stoke Park will be the host of the Regional Qualifier which first Local Qualifier winner Phil Scott will attend. Famously appeared in the the James Bond film Goldfinger

The dates of the Regional Qualifiers are as follows

North West – Formby Hall (Sat Aug 4)
Midlands – The Belfry (Sun Aug 5)
North East – Rockliffe Hall (Sat Aug 11)
Scottish – Gleneagles (Sun Aug 12)
South West – Saunton (Sat Aug 18)
South East – Stoke Park (Sun Aug 19)
