Congressional Country Club: Hole 17

The 2011 US Open returns to Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. Here's your hole-by-hole guide to the Blue course that last hosted America's Open in 1997

Hole 17 Par 4 437 yards

The 17th fairway is split into two with most players opting to lay up at top of the first one. Driving through to the second brings the risk of finding the rough and is too close for a full swing. The green is separated into quadrants and finding the wrong one will make a regulation par difficult. However, if the correct section is found, a birdie could be on the card.
