Congressional Country Club: Hole 3
The 2011 US Open returns to Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. Here's your hole-by-hole guide to the Blue course that last hosted America's Open in 1997
Hole 3 Par 4 466 yards
The par-4 3rd has been lengthened by around ten yards especially for the US Open. At 446 yards, players must now drive around a dogleg left onto a fairway protected by bunkers on the right. Finding the fairway will leave a mid-iron into a slightly raised green that slopes from back to front and has bunkers on either side.
