Nathan Kimsey to represent England in US

19-year-old Woodhall Spa teenager, Nathan Kimsey, will take part in the Orange Bowl International Golf Championship next month

Nathan Kimsey has been selected to play in the Orange Bowl International Golf Championship in Florida at the end of December.

The teenager from Woodhall Spa was selected to play in the competition, which starts on Boxing Day, by the English Golf Union.

Kimsey, 19, has been a key member of England squads for the past two years and has recently become part of the England A squad.

He has had a successful 2011 after being part of the winning England team in the Home Internationals as well as being part of the winning Great Britain and Ireland team for the Jacques Leglise tournament against continental Europe.

At the Orange Bowl International Golf Championship, Kimsey will be up against 32 of the top junior golfers in the world all looking to win a tournament won by Tiger Woods in 1991.

Kimsey said: "I am grateful to be given these opportunities by selectors and the EGU and will always give my best when called upon."
