The Pleasington Putter, a national competition for lady scratch golfers, was won by Corisande Lee of West Lancs on June 28.
Over 50 competitors from all over the UK gathered at Pleasington Golf Club for the event, several of whom had competed earlier in the week at County Match Week.
Lee, a member of the Lancashire county golf team, triumphed with a six-under-par two-round total of 142, after a severe thunderstorm had threatened to spoil the famous event, which was first held in 1982.
However, the green staff worked tirelessly and after delaying the start by just 30 minutes the competition went ahead on a course in immaculate condition.
Past winners of the The Pleasington Putter golf tournament include Lora Fairclough and Kirsty Taylor, both of whom went on to make successful careers as playing professionals.
