Nike Golf has followed on from the launch of three Vapor drivers by introducing two new Vapor hybrids: Vapor Flex and Vapor Speed.
They are designed to offer increased distance through more efficient launch conditions, and both feature a cavity back and compression channel.
The Vapor Flex hybrids feature FlexLoft 2 - an adjustable mechanism - that allows golfers to optimise loft and face angles to suit their own techniques.
What's more, Nike engineers have lowered the centre of gravity and constructed lower and straighter leading edges.
In addition, Nike's renowned cavity-back technology has been redeployed in both models to redirect energy towards a new compression channel, leading to higher ball speeds and increased distance.
"The Vapor Flex hybrids were engineered for speed, versatility and forgiveness," said Nate Radcliffe, Director of Engineering for Nike Golf.
"Leading edges are straight and tighter and tighter to the turf while a lighter FlexLoft 2 and slopes crown has significantly lowered centre of gravity to produce improved launch conditions."
The improved FlexLoft system is some five grams lighter than its previous incarnation, and is compatible with older generations of Covert.
Longer Vapor Speed hybrids (below) feature a larger body and shallower face, while shorter models have a deeper face and sleeker body.
Nike says this facilitates increased forgiveness and speed on long hybrids, and more accuracy and workability on shorter versions.
"The Vapor Speed hybrids are engineered for speed, increased trajectory and forgiveness," added Radcliffe.
"Golfers looking to maximise and control trajectory from a variety of lies will benefit from the powerful combination of these signature technologies."
Nike Vapor Speed hybrids and available from Jan 31, 2015 in 17 to 26-degree models.
They come with a RRP of £134.99.
Nike Vapor Flex Hybrids come in 3H (17-21 degrees) and 4H (21-25 degrees).
They are also available on January 31, 2015 and will set you back £159.99.
