EGCA announces ‘Train like a Tour Pro’ golf programmes

The Elite Golf Coaching Academy (ECGA) has announced the introduction of its ‘Train Like a Tour Pro‘ golf improvement programmes.

The golf schools – which take place at Hacienda del Alamo in Murcia, Spain – allow amateurs to access the same coaches and training techniques as touring professionals.

Jonathan Wallett, EGCG Director, said: “We decided to put together programs for golfers of all ages and abilities to get the most out of their games.

The programmes – running every month from March to October – start from €385.

“Our flexible scheduling system allows golfers to choose from two, three, five and seven-day schools,” added Wallett.

“We anticipate our three-day ‘Perform Like a Tour Player’ school to be the most popular.”

The three-day programme – the stand-out course – reveals some coaching secrets and systems ECGC coaches use with touring professionals.

Other courses – including Swing Like a Tour Player and Score Like a Tour Players – are designed to improve specific facets of golfers’ games.

All programmes take place at Hacienda del Alamo, the EGCA’s base, which boasts five-star training facilities.

Groups contain 4-6 golfers to ensure personal attention and coaching, green fees, range fees and unlimited range balls are included in the price.

“We’ve helped David Howell move up more than 250 places in the Official World Golf Ranking, so we know what a difference we could make to amateur and club golfers’ games,” said Wallett.
