A wrap-up of the 2014 Jenahura Open, which took place at Royal Birkdale and Royal Liverpool the week after the Open Championship
The 2014 Jenahura Open took on special significance this year as it returned to Royal Liverpool, the site of its conception in 2006.
It also marked the golf events and hospitality company's 10 year anniversary.
The two-day corporate golf tournament takes place each year the week following The Open on the links that hosted the championship.
On day one of the tournament, competitors - who had arrived from all over the UK and Europe - took on 2014 Ricoh Women's British Open host Royal Birkdale in sweltering heat and windy conditions.
Dan Thompson registered an impressive 37 points in the individual contest while his team Tullett Prebon also made a strong start.
After a summer evening BBQ and a number of cold beers, the event moved to the links at Hoylake for the second and final day.
Just five days previously, Rory McIlroy had stormed to success to register his first Open and third Major Championship.
Before play got underway, participants were treated to a short-game masterclass from European Tour winner Tommy Fleetwood, who demonstrated a number of crucial links shots.
Conditions were perfect and the final-day pin positions were still in place, with a number of good scores recorded despite the difficulty of the test.
In the end, Sandy Case - a debutant in the Jenahura Open - birdied the 16th en route to a superb 37 points which, combined with his 32 points at Birkdale, saw him triumph in the overall contest.
He received a magnum of Goutorbe Bouillot champagne, a pair of custom-made shoes courtesy of the Left Shoe Company and a piece of Open Championship memorabilia signed by Fleetwood.
He was also successful in the team contest as part of Boot Camp Pilates, who narrowly pipped Tullett Prebon and PIP.
"I just want to say thanks very much for inviting me to attend such a fantastic and exceptional golf trip," said participant Andrew Santone.
"I am at a loss for words to describe what a great time I had."
Dan Thompson, from Tullett Prebon, added: "What a fantastic couple of days. My clients had an incredible time."
