Galvin Green has added new incentives for the young professionals taking part in the PGA Assistants’ Championship

PGA Assistants’ Championship: Galvin Green enhances the prize pool

Galvin Green are once more supporting the PGA Assistants’ Championship for 2016 and there are some new and very attractive prize incentives for entrants.

As part of its support of the event, Galvin Green will reward winners of this year’s seven regional qualifying events with high-performance clothing, plus provide the overnight leader in each round of the Championship final with a different coloured Ventil8 shirt so everyone playing knows who is leading.

These prizes are in addition to the champion being rewarded with the status and profile of an official Galvin Green Tour player for the year, which comes with a complete golfing wardrobe selected during a visit to the brand’s UK headquarters.

The tournament prize fund is £32,000 with a first prize of £5,000. The winner also receives entry into the PGA Futures Championship in Australia, plus the opportunity to compete for a place in the Scottish Open and the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth via the end-of-season PGA Play-Offs in Turkey.
