Vilamoura Team Event To Promote Golf To All Abilities
Having recently hosted its 10th Portugal Masters at its Victoria Course, Oceânico Golf and Vilamoura is preparing for its next event – the EDGA Handi-Junior golf event on the Millennium course on the 4th December. The unique event will welcome world-class disabled golfers to the Algarve, as they partner with local junior players to do battle on the championship Millennium Clube de Golfe.
The event is a key tournament in the Algarve Tourism Authorities ‘Golf4All’ campaign, a project which is dedicated to bridging the divisions in golf by promoting the accessibility of the sport to everyone, regardless of age, gender, skill or impairment.
David Howell’s Caddy Offering Amateur Golfers the Caddy Experience
Steve Brotherhood is offering amateur golfers the kind of advice he gives Tour star David Howell after 12 years of carrying a bag on the world’s top courses.

Danny Willett Nominated for BBC Sports Personality of the Year
Masters Champion Danny Willett has been nominated for the 2016 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. Willett became the first Englishman since Nick Faldo in 1996 to win the Green Jacket.
The man from Sheffield is bidding to become the first golfer to win BBC SPOTY since Nick Faldo in 1989. The world number 11 also won the Dubai Desert Classic this year and represented GB at the Olympic Games in Rio.
Topgolf Gives Away Free Vouchers at School Christmas Fairs
Topgolf have been attending a selection of local School Christmas Fairs this week, giving visitors the chance to practice their swing in return for some free vouchers. Based on real-life Topgolf, the popup model has targets on its outfield, with balls being measured for distance and accuracy.
Players must aim to score the highest number of points by getting as many balls as possible in the target and, in keeping with the festive cheer, all players will receive a free Topgolf voucher no matter what they score.
