Entries for the European Father and Son Golf Championship, held in Andalucia and covered by Sky Sports, are now being taken.

This unique tournament is open to any father and son of any age with a handicap of 24 and below, including professionals. This year 200 father and son combinations will be playing in the tournament over two courses.

The prestigious event is the biggest televised event of its kind in Europe. PGA professional Phil Taylor, father to scratch England Boys International Ben, will both aim to defend their well earned title after last year’s sensational 20-under-par total.

Elsewhere, Dermot and Lee Doolan from Co Limerick will be returning to defend their handicap title they picked up in 2009.

The 2010 tournament will be hosted by El Rompido Golf Resort in Andalucia, Spain. The tournament will take place over 54 holes, with a two-ball better-ball stableford, commencing between October 28 – 30.

Fantastic prizes are up for grabs with a World Cruise return holiday for winning teams, as well as invitations to the US Father and Son in South Carolina.

Entries are still available with discounted rates for PGA professionals and juniors. Prices start at just £499 per person including five nights in five-star accommodation, four rounds of golf, entry, return transfers, gala dinner and prize giving.
