The PGA Tour returns to the Blue Course at Congressional Country Club for the first time since Rory McIlroy’s incredible US Open victory last year.

The weather is due to be a lot drier than when McIlroy shot his record-setting scoring last time out so expect the scoring to be challenging.

McIlroy is of course playing at the Irish Open this week, but there are a host of big names in the tournament including Tiger Woods who is a very short priced favourite at 5/1.

Bo Van Pelt at 33/1 with Ladbrokes Has five top tens this year but no top threes. Has impressive driving stats which should be useful on this course. Time for him to shine?

Ryan Palmer at 33/1 with Ladbrokes Four top 10s in his last five starts, he is tricky to overlook. Has finished in the top 25 the last two times he has played at Congressional.

KJ Choi at 40/1 with Ladbrokes Seems to enjoy challenging tracks and won here in 2007. Has finished top 20 in his last two starts.

Robert Garrigus at 50/1 with Ladbrokes Finished 3rd here at the 2011 US Open, had several Top Tens this year and could do well again this time out.

Kevin Chappell at 80/1 with Ladbrokes Finished top 10 at the US Open played here last year and also top 10 in his last event… which was the 2012 US Open, seems to like the course set up when it is tricky. Could surprise.
