On September 1st a field of 62 professionals competed in the third event of the 66 Pro Tour schedule at Old Thorns, Hampshire.

In very testing conditions, Ben Banks (West Surrey) came out on top with a leading score of 74 (+2) after a five-man play off. Each event so far on the 66 Pro Tour has ended in a play-off, creating an exciting climax. Banks calmly rolled in a six-foot par putt at the par three 10th to win the top prize of £3000.

Runners up were James Ablett (Lee-on Solent), Chris Baron (Selsdon Park), Daniel Brooks (Mill Hill) and Jon Evans (Wentworth).

The last chance for players to qualify for the Grand Final will be at the fourth event on the tour, at East Sussex National on the 28th September.
