Seve Ballesteros? European team dominated the Royal Trophy defeating Asia by 12½ to 3½ at the Amata Spring Country Club, Bangkok.

England’s Lee Westwood gave the Europeans their first win by defeating Japan’s Toru Taniguchi. Paul McGinley, Anthony Wall and Robert Karlsson were also victorious while Henrik Stenson and Darren Clarke halved with YE Yang and Prom Meesawat respectively. Tonchai Jaidee achieved Asia?s only victory of the day with his 2&1 win over Niclas Fasth.

“It’s fantastic. Asia played great but Europe played better, Europe played unbelievable golf. It was no surprise because they beat the U.S. badly,? said Ballesteros.
