The European Tour have a brand new style of event this week with the GolfSixes at the Centurion Club.

In this event there are 16 pairs of players each representing a different country. They play in group matches on Saturday, with the top two from each group of four qualifying for the knockout stages on Sunday.

Favourites for the event are the English pair of Andy Sullivan and Chris Wood (5/1) while the French pair contains last week’s winner Alexander Levy who is paired with Gregory Bourdy (13/2).

The event is played over matches of just six holes and should have a huge amount of excitement and drama.

It does make picking a winner somewhat tricky this week and due to the size of the field the odds are perhaps not as generous as usual.

GolfSixes Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets

Italy 4 points each way at 13/1 with Bet On Brazil – Matteo Manassero and Renato Paratore are two guys who will show passion and talent out on the course. Paratore has had a top 10 and top 20 in the last few weeks, while Manassero has been showing much more consistency of late.

Scotland 4 points each way at 14/1 with Bet On Brazil – I think the Scottish team of Richie Ramsay and Marc Warren should have some decent success here. Warren of course famously won the World Cup with Colin Montgomerie back in 2007. Both players have had an unspectacular but solid season so far.

Netherlands 3 points each way at 25/1 with Bet On Brazil – The Dutch team are led by the experienced Joost Luiten and he is paired with Reinier Saxton who is currently World Number 794. Luiten is one of the European Tour’s most consistent performers and has the ability to take this team to victory on his own.

Good luck to you and bet responsibly
