Tiger Woods played his first tournament in 300 days earlier this month, with the whole of the golfing world glued to their screens to see one of the greatest of all time back on the links.

Woods came through his return unscathed, and actually played some very decent golf, leaving the rest of us waiting with baited breath to see him play a 'proper' PGA Tour event again (his 18-man Hero World Challenge invitational tournament is a non-official PGA Tour event).

However, the only man to have won more majors than Woods, Jack Nicklaus, won't be tuning in to see how Tiger gets on in 2018.

In an interview with GolfWeek, Nicklaus was asked if he'll be watching Woods' play next year. The Golden Bear said, “I’m not interested at all."

“Do I wish (Tiger) well? Yeah, but I’m not interested in watching him,” Nicklaus continued.

Butch Harmon thinks tiger can win again, but…

“I’ve watched him play golf for 20-something years, why would I want to go watch more? I don’t watch anybody play golf.”

Despite Jack saying he never watches golf, he appeared to have caught some of Tiger's return at the Hero World Challenge, commenting on how Woods' swing looked.

“Tiger seemed to hit the ball pretty well over there and seemed to enjoy it and be pain-free and I wish him well.

“The swing as I saw, looked good. It looked like a swing of somebody who didn’t want to hurt his back.”
