John Deere Classic Golf Betting Tips

The week before the Open the PGA Tour is in Illinois for the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run.

Jordan Spieth is very short-priced favourite (3/1) at the course where he won his first PGA Tour event in 2013. While a very good horse for the course Zach Johnson who is always in the top 5 here is (8/1).

The defending champion is Brian Harman who shot a superb 66 in the final round to beat Johnson by a single stroke.

The highest placed top-5 finisher who has not already qualified for the Open gets an invite to St Andrews next week, where they will play at the home of golf, where this drama unfolded in 2010.

As ever we are taking on our bloggers DownThe18th in a £10 challenge, with current results at the bottom of this post, read about the winner they picked last week in their blog.
