Former European Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie is in line to tee in up at Golf Live in May, where amateurs are being given the chance to play a hole with some of the game’s leading players.

The London Golf Club will be hosting Golf Live from May 18-20, and for £375 plus VAT per person, visitors can pit their wits on a hole against ‘Monty’.

The seven-hole ‘Heritage Package‘ gives golfers the chance to play against another star name from the game on a different hole, learn trick-shots from leading exponents Jeremy Dale or Paul Barrington and take on 2010 World Long Drive champion Joe Miller in a ‘Beat the Pro’ contest.

Anyone buying this package will get the chance to play in the straightest drive and nearest the pin competitions, plus there will be the opportunity to have a video swing analysis session with a top Tour coach.

The package includes an informal Q&A session with the Tour professionals and celebrity presenters, an all-day complimentary bar, breakfast, a three-course buffet lunch and afternoon tea.

Event ambassador Montgomerie and the legendary Gary Player head a list of stellar names already confirmed for the event.

The show will feature the latest equipment from all the major manufacturers when amateurs golfers will have the best opportunity to test more clubs than anywhere else.
