New Scotty Cameron Putter by Titleist

Exciting news for all Scotty Cameron lovers – the latest range has just been released. Get all the lowdown on the brand new Studio Select family of Newport-style putters.

This week Titleist has announced the release of a newly designed Scotty Cameron putter. The line of putters will be called the Studio Select family of Newport-style putters.

For the first time each of the new Studio Select putters will be available in 33?, 34? and 35? length, as a circular weight in the heel and toe will deliver the optimal head weight for each shaft length. With four Newport based models the new line features two different body styles- the Newport and Newport 2. Also it has three different neck configurations: plumbing, short flair and mid slant. This flexibility makes it easy for golfers to choose a Studio Select putter with the appearance they prefer, the length the need and a neck configuration that provides the proper amount of toe flow during the stroke.

Scotty Cameron gives us a little insight into the reasoning for all of the different choices that there are with the new line of putters.

?Different golfers require putters of different length, body and neck configuration,? said Cameron. ?The Studio Select putter line delivers a wide range of specifications, designed to accommodate a wide range of golf requirements.?

It?s interesting to note that no other putter has been used to win more on the PGA tour in the past decade than the Scotty Cameron by Titleist.

Studio Select putters will be available for purchase in the UK starting on March 15, 2008, and should cost about £220.
