Open D'Italia Lindt golf betting guide

Tom Clarke turns his attention to the European Tour in this Open D'Italia Lindt golf betting guide

Brooks Koepka

The Italian Open is played at a new course this season, Golf Club Torino, so looking at last year's results is rather irrelevant.

All the Italian golfers are not surprisingly short priced here, so I am going to stay away from home favouritism for exactly that reason.

With the cream of the European Tour busy playing in the Tour Championship, it is a chance for those players on the cusp of Race to Dubai World Tour Championship qualification who will be looking to pick up a cash boost this weekend.

Brooks Koepka at 25/1 with Ladbrokes. The talented young American is surely only a matter of time away from turning his three Challenge Tour victories into a full European Tour win. Has played well in the past few weeks as well.

Rafael Cabrera-Bello at 33/1 with Ladbrokes. The Spaniard has had an untidy year with just two top tens, but has shown some return to consistancy in recent weeks, will be looking for some good form running into the big end of season events.

Marcus Fraser at 40/1 with Ladbrokes. Coming off the back of a final round 66 last week and his second consecutive top 20 the Australian's game looks to be heading in the right direction after a mid-season slump.

Robert Rock at 66/1 with Ladbrokes. 22 events played 11 cuts made, 11 missed. But has finished in 2nd place in the Irish Open. These results are the reason for his price and he is a good looking each way bet.

Graeme Storm at 125/1 with Ladbrokes. A thoroughly frustrating golfer, in his last 6 starts he has missed 4 cuts and the other two results have been top 10s! If this is another good week for him get him at this price and you will be laughing.
