PowaKaddy, the No.1 in powered carts, eclipsed the competition againg in the 2009 HSBC Golf World Champion of Champions tournament, with the best club golfers opting for the market leading brand.

Across the 10 qualifying events held throughout the UK, where over 450 club champions were competing for a place in the final at Royal Birkdale, PowaKaddy accounted for an impressive 68% of those competitors who used an electric trollley.

The impresive figures underline the fact that PowaKaddy is the overwhelming product choice amongst better players as the average handicap of the entrants was just 2.8.

Simon Homer, PowerKaddy’s Sales Direcor commented: “It is great that PowerKaddy has maintained the position as preferred choice of so many of the UK’s club champions. To have accomplished  golfers trusting our products clearly shows that golfers who are serious about their game prefer PowaKaddy and it’s testament to the quality and performance of our trolleys.”

PowaKaddy’s new flagship product, the Freeway II with its sleek design and state-of-the-art functionality, has taken the market by storm since its launch in the Spring, while the iconic Freeway remains a very popular trolley with players of all ages and abilities.

The use of electric trolleys has grown considerably over the last few years and the fact that nearly 60% of entrants across the qualifying events used an electric trolley illustrates this further.

As the market expands and the ‘seniors only’ image is well and truly a thing if the past, PowaKaddy continues to set the standard in the electric trolley market.
