Take on Wilson Staff players at Golf Live

Visitors to Golf Live will be able to see if they can outdrive Anthony Wall and also get short game tips from two-time Walker Cup player Stiggy Hodgson

Golfers attending Golf LIVE at the London Club (18-20 May) will have the chance to get free individual ‘tips from the pros' sessions with European Tour player Anthony Wall and Walker Cup star Stiggy Hodgson thanks to a special promotion being run by record Major-winning brand, Wilson Staff.   The manufacturer associated with 61 Major wins will give club golfers the opportunity to take 20-minute slots with former Alfred Dunhill Championship winner Wall on Friday (18 May). The former Seve Trophy player, who turned pro in 1995, will also host a ‘Long Drive' competition, when visitors will have the chance to outdrive him using the new Wilson Staff DXi Superlight driver.   "It's not every day you get to work on your game with a European Tour professional and also try out some of the very latest clubs in the process," said Wilson Golf Marketing Manager Rick Hazelden. "We look forward to welcoming players of all abilities and hope they can take away a few tips that can transform their golfing season."   The Tour experience doesn't end there as Wilson Staff's two-time Walker Cup player Stiggy Hodgson will drop in on Saturday (19 May) to lead chipping and putting clinics at the staged short-game area.   Meanwhile, those visiting the London Club will also get the chance to have their clubs built like a Tour player on the Wilson Staff Tour truck. After being custom-fitted using the latest launch monitor technology, golfers will have their clubs moulded and adjusted on the state-of-the-art truck from the European Tour Manager that builds clubs for three-time Major winner Padraig Harrington and recent Qatar Masters champion Paul Lawrie.   Golfers will be able to enter a draw, open each morning at the Wilson Staff bays, to win one of the ‘tips from the pros' sessions - with the lucky winners being announced later in the day.   To keep up to date with all news regarding Wilson Staff players at Golf LIVE, golfers are advised to follow Wilson Golf UK on Facebook or regularly check www.golfliveevent.com
