Tiger Woods' hot dog assassin explains himself
American explains the reasoning behind his bizarre hot dog attack on Tiger Woods at the Frys.com Open
The man who threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods during the final round of the Frys.com open has explained his motivation for the attack.
Brandon Kelly, 31, said he's a fan of Woods but wanted to do something 'courageous and epic' after being inspired by a film.
Kelly said: "I threw the hot dog towards Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie Drive.
"As soon as the movie ended I thought to myself, 'I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of TIger.'"
The film features a stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway driver for a criminal gang.
Kelly went on to say: "I honestly wish Tiger the best. One day I hope he breaks Jack Nicklaus' record."
