The PGA Tour are in the lone star state this week, check out who the GM Tipster has gone for with these Valero Texas Open Golf Betting Tips

Valero Texas Open Golf Betting Tips

One of the toughest tests on the PGA Tour outside of the Majors the Valero Texas Open is one that usually suits players who never give up and can make a score when the odds are against them.

The field has none of the World’s Top 10 playing this week, but it does have Branden Grace fresh from his win last week and who is now 11th in the world.

The South African is fancied at 18/1 with only defending champion Jimmy Walker (17/1) any shorter. The bookies seem to be struggling to pick a favourite here with no short priced players listed and 11 players available between 17/1 and 30/1 – If you can identify a winner this week you will get paid!

The Golf Monthly Tipster is in good form at the moment with winners in the last two weeks – check out all the details of his season so far on our Golf Betting Tips home page.

Valero Texas Open Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets

Charley Hoffman 3 points each way at 28/1 – Has played in every version of this tournament and never finished worse than T13th. In decent form at the moment with a few decent Top 25s – like him at these odds.

Jason Kokrak 2 points each way at 45/1 – In some excellent form this season with two top 10s including a runner up at the Northern Trust Open and a 6th at the RBC Heritage. Has had two top 15s here before.

Aaron Baddley 1 point each way at 80/1 – The Australian is playing some seriously good golf this year with four top 10s already. That alone makes him a superb each way bet at these odds. Has also had three Top 20s here in the past.

Thongchai Jaidee 1 point each way at 125/1 – The man from Thailand is 43rd in the World Rankings yet has over 50 players shorter priced than him this week. Usually performs well in tricky conditions. He is a diminutive man and therefore much underrated… 7 European Tour wins tells its own story.
