Bored of your regular playing partners? Looking for some fresh banter on your way round? Well, here’s your chance! Snooker legend Willie Thorne will be helping Headway – the brain injury association celebrate its 30th anniversary in style when he tees off in the charity’s golf day in June.
Following a highly successful career in which he was a regular in the top 16 world rankings, Willie Thorne has gone on to establish himself as one of the nation’s most popular sporting personalities.
Now though, Willie is swapping his cue for golf clubs as he supports the charity golf day at Kilworth Springs Golf Club, South Leicestershire. Not only will golfers have the chance to meet Willie and maybe even play a round with him, but also they will get to experience the club’s championship course.
