Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will both make their PGA Tour debuts for 2011 by playing in next week's Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.
The course should bring back happy memories for Woods who won his last Major there, the US Open in 2008.
The 14-time Major winner missed the 2009 Farmers Insurance Open due to injury and again last year when
he sat out the first three months of the season to address problems in his personal life.
On Wednesday morning, Woods tweeted: "I've been working hard on my game, it's game time hooah!!" It has now been confirmed that he will be lining up at Torrey Pines.
Woods has six career victories in the event, including each tournament from 2006 to 2008. After next week Woods is scheduled to play in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
Joining the world number two will be Phil Mickelson, who won the event in 2000 and 2001, the world number four jetting back after the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship to get his PGA Tour season underway.
