A review of the Mizuno JPX800 hybrid

Mizuno JPX800
Golf Monthly Verdict

The Mizuno JPX800 offers a big step up visually from the old MX hybrid and it also performs better. The bullet head copes with the vast majority of lies and particularly impresses from the rough.

Why you can trust Golf Monthly Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing products and services so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about how we test.

The Mizuno JPX800 hybrids have large clubheads, with a view to giving the clubs the feel of a lofted wood. A lightweight Exsar HS5 graphite shaft comes as standard.

One of few hybrids that combine a large head with great looks but produced a higher flight than we are used to from Mizuno hybrids. which won't suit everyone.
