Wilson has been producing high quality golf equipment for 100 years and the Wilson Women’s D200 women’s range is evidence of the company’s fine pedigree. These clubs have been engineered to help women golfers to get the very most from their games. From driver to irons, these are powerful and forgiving clubs that will help you generate distance and consistency.

Wilson Staff D200 Women’s Driver RRP: £199

This 460CC lightweight driver features an array of technologies that make it the most effective women’s driver Wilson has launched to date.

The superlight head combines with a lightweight UST Mamiya shaft and Winn grip to create what Wilson calls “Right Light technology.” The objective of this is to help female golfers to swing faster with the same amount of effort.

Reactive face technology increases ball speeds on toe and heel strikes and a thinner low section of the face means greater distance on mis-hits.

The D200 is also adjustable with its 6-way adjustable hosel. This allows you to tailor the club to your requirements in terms of loft and shot shape.

Wilson Staff D200 Women’s fairways RRP: £129

Wilson-D200-fairway

These sleek looking fairways feature the same Right Light technology as the D200 driver. They look great at address, inspiring confidence and they perform well, producing a powerful and consistent ball flight.

The premium face insert on these fairways is the standout feature. Made of Carpenter Custom 455 maraging steel, it’s super thin and helps the player generate impressive ball speed and distance.

The radius sole makes this club pretty versatile and playable from a variety of lies on the fairway or in the rough. The sleek head looks good at address and inspires confidence when behind the ball.

Available with the UST Mamiya shaft as standard in 3W, 5W and 7W, the D200 is an excellent and competitively priced offering from Wilson.

Wilson Staff D200 Women’s hybrids RRP: £119

Wilson-D200-hybrid

Featuring many of the same technologies as the D200 fairways, including the premium face insert and Right Light technology, these hybrids perform well in a wide range of circumstances from tee right up the greenside.

The hybrid is, perhaps, the most versatile club in your bag as it can be effective from the tee, fairway, rough or even for little bunt shots around the green. The D200 hybrids feature a progressive head design that means the stronger lofts are slightly larger for greater forgiveness and distance while the higher lofted clubs offer enhanced accuracy.

The hybrids are available with the UST Mamiya shaft as standard in 4H, 5H and 6H

Wilson Staff D200 Women’s irons RRP: £429 (5-PW) or £369 (6-PW)

Wilson-D200-iron

The same themes run through the D200 range and the D200 irons feature the same Right Light technology that appears in driver, fairways and hybrids. With the UST Mamiya, lightweight shaft as standard, these irons are designed to help the female golfer generate maximum power in return for the effort put in.

The key to these cavity-backed irons is the Speed Sole Technology which allows for a thinner face and faster ball speeds, meaning more distance.

The positioning of weight pods at heel and toe increases forgiveness and you’ll find you still achieve good yardage even on the off-centre strikes.

The irons are designed to be used in conjunction with the D200 hybrids. A gap wedge and sand wedge are also available.

Verdict

An excellent range of clubs that will help the improving golfer to gain consistency and distance from tee to green.
