Bubba Watson made the most of the morning conditions to compile a second-round 68 and move to the top of the leaderboard in the 2014 Masters at Augusta National.

Watson – who is seven-under-par – is three clear of Australian John Senden, who won the Valspar Championship in Floria a month ago to earn his Masters ticket.

Jordan Spieth, Thomas Bjorn, Jonax Blixt and defending champion Adam Scott all sit four back on three-under-par, with veteran Fred Couples a shot further back.

Rory McIlroy made the cut on the number at +4.
