Whistling Straits hole by hole guide: hole 8 – On The Rocks / 507 yards / Par 4

A blind tee shot that also requires a shaped shot from right to left means that this is one of the most difficult tee shots on the entire course. A severely sloping fairway from left to right ensures that any balls moving that way will find either thick rough or tricky bunker shots awaiting them. An expansive green means that club selection here will be very tough especially with long-irons in hand.
