Hugo Dobson of the Fynn Valley Golf Club, Suffolk, has won the inaugural South East of England Links Championship at Royal St George's Golf Club.
The plus two-handicapper recorded rounds of 70, 72, 75, 73 to win by two shots from David Coupland of Boston Golf Club.
Dobson trailed Coupland by one stroke going into the final nine holes, but an inward nine of level par saw him claim his first major event.
The tournament was a 72-hole R&A-sanctioned championship, where players played one round at Royal St George's and then one round at The Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, before returning to Royal St George's for the final 36 holes.
The win adds to the growing pedrigree of Hugo Dobson, who has also played for England in the Boys Home International's 2009 and currently makes up part of a strong England A squad.
