Abu Dhabi Junior Golf Championship underway

The Abu Dhabi Junior Golf Championship, in association with The Telegraph, got underway at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club this week.
12 boys and nine girls are competing for the title after being selected from qualifying tournaments throughout the UK.
2011 British Boys Champion Harrison Greenberry heads the boys field that features several England Internationals, such as Oliver Carr, Jack Singh Brar and Paul Kinnear.
The girl's championship features the defending champion Hayley Davis, who attends Baylor University in Texas. She will face competition from Welsh International Amy Boulden and England's Lauren Taylor who became the youngest ever winner of the Women's British Amateur Championship in June.
After two days play, the boys competition is led by Jimmy Mullen, who plays off a handicap of plus two, after rounds of 69 and 70.
Haley Davis leads the girls competition following a course record 64 in round two to lead Lauren Taylor by four shots.
Faisal Al Sheikh, events manager of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, said: "This great event reinforces our global golfing credentials and furthers an offering which is now challenging some of the world's best.
"From important grass-roots programmes to bar-raising championships, we are creating an inspirational golfing destination that attracts the world's best players and fosters the next generation of stars."
