The Scottish Golf Union (SGU) has announced a squad of nine boys that will travel to Abu Dhabi for a warm-weather training camp next month.

Scotland's National Boys' Squad will return to Yas Links Golf Club from 8-16th of February.

The squad of nine will be lead by national youth coaches Neil Marr and Kevin Hale, who will be hoping to take advantage of the tremendous facilities and excellent climate.

It will be the second time in less than six months that the SGU has utilised the Yas Links Golf Club for training purposes. Late last year ten members from both the Men's and Boys' National Squad descended upon the prestigious resort, which boasts an 18-hole Kyle Phillips designed links, a state-of-the-art academy and floodlit practice facilities.

The programme was sponsored by Centro Yas Island Hotel and long-standing SGU supporter Aberdeen Asset Management.

Meanwhile, the National Men's Squad are in the second week of an eight-week winter performance programme in South Africa.

Four members of the Boys' squad head to Abu Dhabi for the second time, and will be joined by five other emerging talents.

Lothians star, Anthony Blaney, said: "I'm really looking forward to going back to Yas links... The facilities are fantastic."

Neil Marr, head coach, added: "I know that the Boy's golf games will improve by spending time at Yas... there will be more focus on their playing and scoring and less on technical input and changes."

The full squad is as follows:

Greig Marchbank (SGU Boys Order of Merit winner)
Bradley Neil
Ewan Scott
Anthony Blaney
Calum Hill
Ben Kinsley
Jamie Savage
Euan Walker
David Wilson (2011 Scottish Boys champion)
