Continental Europe's top golf courses
Golf Monthly’s April 2009 issue presented a list of the top 20 European golf courses. Here we just provide a selection of these with some pictures to get you in the mood should you be planning a golf trip to the continent. From Valderrama in Spain to the Sporting Club Berlin, our assessment panel gives you some of those courses that featured in the list.
Paris National (Albatross) is often described as an 'inland links'. This French course has acted as the annual venue for the French Open since 1991 for all but a couple of occasions.
