FootJoy is to sponsor the English Golf Union (EGU) and the Golf Union of Wales (GUW) by providing a selection of FootJoy products that will be used by the Men’s, Junior and Seniors squads of England and Wales.
FootJoy will provide the EGU and GUW with shoes from the Classics, SYNR-G and MyJoys range, as well as jackets, trousers and windshirts.
The EGU’s MyJoys will sport the English Rose logo of the governing body, while the Welsh dragon will feature on the GUW’s MyJoys.
FootJoy’s European marketing manager, Richard Fryer said, “FootJoy is delighted to be able to support the English Golf Union and the Golf Union of Wales.
“We very much appreciate the work that both governing bodies do to developing the amateur game in England and Wales and are proud to be involved in helping some of the best amateur players in the UK.”
Lynne Fraser, EGU Marketing Manager added: “The EGU is delighted to be working with FootJoy, one of the most influential names in the golf industry and their support is valued enormously by both the EGU as the governing body as well as the individual players.
